Lismio's Growing Voice in the Latin American Market


There has been much talk about the impending boom in audiobook formats among users in Spanish-speaking markets.

While more and more publishers are convinced of the need to publish their content in this format—and many have already begun to explore it—there is still a lack of content and, more importantly, a lack of clear guidelines or a roadmap on how to successfully promote this type of content and ensure that their stories are heard.

As part of Zebralution Digital Publishing's marketing strategy, we believe that Lismio is the ideal tool to meet this challenge—not only as a B2C discovery platform for audiobooks, but also as a user-friendly, content-driven space that helps promote and expand publishers' catalogs in an organic and audience-oriented way. 

However, before we could fulfill this role, we first had to establish a solid presence for Lismio among Spanish-speaking users.

We want to raise awareness of Lismio in Latin American countries through a combination of digital and local marketing strategies.

2. Activation of Lismio Cards: A versatile advertising tool that helps partners present specific audiobooks or collections at important book fairs and publishing events.

→  Influencer campaigns led to a significant increase in follower numbers (+94.45%) and visibility, but it is Lismio's consistent, curated organic content that maintains audience interest and engagement over the long term. This combined approach is crucial for building lasting brand loyalty in the Latin American market.


→  Posts centered around thematic storytelling—such as curated carousels and podcast clips—achieve the strongest engagement and reach. This confirms that focusing on discoverability, local culture, and genre-based exploration is key to appealing to Spanish-speaking audiobook listeners.


→  Lismio's success in the Spanish-speaking market is based on a hybrid strategy: The combination of a strong focus on digital content and activities at major book fairs and industry events has proven crucial to increasing brand awareness in Latin America. Maintaining this integrated approach will be crucial to consolidating Lismio's leadership position in the Latin American audiobook ecosystem.
