Question to a zebra: "Are you black with white stripes? Or white with black stripes?"
Answer: "Are you good with bad habits? Or are you bad with good habits?" (based on a poem by Shel Silverstein)
Spread across the globe, yet only a phone call away. With Zebralution teams in Mexico, the UK, and Germany, we not only exchange different cultures, but also different perspectives and ways of working, which teach us something new every day. Here's a little insight into our various locations:
Berlin
In Berlin, a team of around 15 people works in audiobook and DSP account management, along with colleagues from product, management, and communications. With their mix of expertise and Berlin charm, they support publishers and partners in their daily business. Close cooperation with our international locations ensures that projects run smoothly across time zones. And the traditional lunch break with the best view over Berlin provides the necessary team spirit.
Munich
Munich is home to the small, well-coordinated Open Publishing team, which supports publishers and retail platforms while also offering strategic advice on visibility, sales, and platform optimization. Whether working from home or directly at the Viktualienmarkt, our self-proclaimed "nerds with heart" are the ideal partners when it comes to account management and successful placement in the digital book market. Also based in Munich is the seven-strong team at Bilandia, our specialists for everything related to digital book marketing. From social media ads and content production to managing entire campaigns, they ensure that books are visible and reach exactly the right target groups. With a wealth of experience and a keen sense for trends, they are the perfect partner for effective reach.
United Kingdom
In London and Edinburgh, our small UK team looks after all English, French, and Dutch-language publishers as well as international retail platforms. As a well-coordinated duo—supported by two freelancers for marketing and Lismio—they are responsible for the entire non-German and non-Spanish audiobook business. Despite the stereotypical rain, sunny audio stories are managed here.
Mexico
In Mexico City, two colleagues are working to advance our Spanish Language Project – from strategic development to daily collaboration with publishers and platform partners. Despite time differences, communication with the international teams remains close and uncomplicated. And while the city is known for its pace and diversity, one thing is certain: no matter how chaotic it gets, in Mexico City you can always find a way, and usually a taco stand within easy reach.
